Job Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products meet the established quality standards through thorough inspections and audits.

The Inspector is primarily responsible to perform inspection of incoming PMA product to ensure conformance with Core Parts design data. Additional duties could include internal audits, supplier control, calibration, or other duties as required by the Quality Manager.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Incoming inspection of parts ranging from forgings/castings to finished parts.
• Perform internal audits as necessary.
• Manage approved suppliers by ensuring surveys, accreditations, and certifications are up to date.
• Perform and help manage calibration of inspection equipment as needed.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• Must be able to read, speak, write and understand the English language.
• Some experience as a Quality Assurance Inspector

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel
• Proficiency in the use of inspection hand tools (i.e. caliper, micrometer, bore gage)
• Ability to read and understand a blueprint/drawing.
• Basic understanding of GD&T requirements per ASME Y14.5
• Ability and patience to perform dimensional and visual inspection of high-volume parts.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Working knowledge of Quantum and Quality Control by Design (QCBD)
• Strong understanding of GD&T requirements per ASME Y14.5
• Experience with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).
