Job Description:

The Nurse Practitioner will lead our weight loss program, overseeing patient care and ensuring the delivery of high-quality treatment plans. This role involves assessing patient health, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and utilizing the latest in weight management therapies and technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate patient suitability for our weight loss program.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and goals.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Provide direct patient care including consultations, treatments, and follow-up assessments.
• Educate patients and their families on healthy lifestyle choices and weight management strategies.
• Collaborate with dietitians, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to weight management.
• Lead team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of the program.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

Qualifications:

• Current and valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Alabama.
• MSN or DNP from an accredited nursing program.
• Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Adult Nurse Practitioner (ANP), or similar.
• Experience in obesity management, nutrition, or a related field is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership abilities and a team-oriented mindset.

Pay: From $42.39 per hour
