We are looking for a Director of Latin America Sales to join our growing organization!

Qualifications


General Position Summary

The Director of Latin America Sales is responsible for the direction and management of all Latin America sales and business development operations, including market competitiveness, pricing, compensation, and distribution and channel strategy.

Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales and marketing plans and strategies to increase sales, market share, and maximize profitability within our distribution sales network.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity and contribute towards formulation of Product and Marketing strategies to create and maintain differentiation from the competition.
  • Interface with Operations, Finance, and Technical Service (all internal) functions for realizing business objectives and maximizing customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure strategic and operational business plans are consistent with and support the overall goals and annual operating plan, along with the Core Values and Strategic Plan.
  • Ensure accurate sales planning and forecasting within the defined ES&OP process.
  • Participate in customer events and ensure that customer needs are addressed in new products.
  • Represent our brand and products at trade shows and conferences.
  • Provide input and leadership to the distributor sales team members.
  • Handle inbound phone and email inquiries using customer service skills.
  • Contact customers, vendors, and other departments to efficiently coordinate and administer Service and Quality Escalations
  • Utilize Salesforce.com to enter data specific to keep the Sales Department updated.
  • Work with Service Department with all aspects of processing, booking, and shipping parts and creating work orders.
  • Manages the logistic and shipping communications with sales and customers throughout the service parts and RMA process.
  • Answer technical questions and troubleshooting service-related activities on fitness equipment for customers directly or indirectly through the support of Authorized Service Providers and Dealers.
  • Ensure optimum customer satisfaction by working towards continual improvement of service quality metrics including, but not limited to telephone response time, time to resolve an issue, and timely closure of cases.
  • Handle escalations from customers and management.
  • Manage Open Orders and Revenue Workbook
  • Demonstrate high levels of organization and timeliness in all forms of internal and external responsiveness.

  • Participate with internal departments to facilitate business process – credit, customer care etc.
  • Assist Credit team and Account Coordinators with collection of customer payments.
  • Manage and maintain margin control.
  • Travel within Latin America frequently to monitor sales productivity of distributor network.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Four-year college degree and/or equivalent experience.
  • 2 Years plus experience working with Latin America distributors.
  • International Distribution Management
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint
  • Experience using Salesforce and Power BI
