Immediate need for a Maintenance Techmician
Responsibilities and Duties:
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Primary duties are to perform maintenance functions and diagnose machine equipment for repair
- Perform troubleshooting in manufacturing department and make necessary repairs where possible.
- Alter/upgrade machines, build simple machines, tooling & fixtures for internal use in manufacturing operations.
- Machine and build dies and punches for production per drawing specifications.
- Fabricating and modifying tooling as needed.
- Diagnose and repair machine electrical components.
- Troubleshoot and repair Ultra Sonic Welders, CNC Milling and Lathes, and other shop equipment
- Proactively address safety issues including door switches, trip devices, light curtains and various guarding on machinery.
- Basic facility repair and maintenance including plumbing, HVAC systems, dust collection and air compressors.
- Assist Machine Lead in assembly of complex machines.
- Remove and replace worn or defective parts of machinery and hydraulic systems.
- Preventative maintenance to ensure safe and continual production.
- Install, program and troubleshoot PLC’s, pneumatic and hydraulic controllers.
- Perform Lockout/Tagout on equipment.
- Five years or more of maintenance experience working on industrial machinery and basic electrical repair required.
- Associate Degree from a technical school in mechanical field is desired.
- Previous experience altering and upgrading machines, build simple machines, tooling and fixtures a plus.
- Previous experience with lockout/tag out procedures.
- Read and understand blueprints, shop orders and electrical schematics required.
- Valid driver’s license.
