Core Consulting is Hiring an Inventory Control Specialist (20116) Near Oconomowoc, WI
- Pick parts and properly label to jobs currently in production.
- Deliver Material to production floor when requested.
- Coordinate storage, part transfers, pick up or delivery of parts as needed between facilities
- Track inventory in company computer system.
- Perform regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Investigate inconsistencies and reconcile discrepancies.
- Communicate with various departments to understand inventory needs.
- Maintain inventory levels through Procurement Department
- Support efficient utilization of space and material resources.
- Track and document changes in inventory.
- Exhibits ability to think creatively to devise best inventory control practices.
- Ensure proper labeling and stock location of materials.
- Arrange Material Returns with Vendors through Procurement Department.
- Work Materials Shipping & Receiving Coordinator assisting with all duties related to position.
- Back-up to Shipping and receiving related duties regarding inbound and outbound shipping.
- Load/unload material and parts from semis and flatbeds using material handling equipment.
- Participation and engagement in process improvement strategies.
- Driving Requirements: Must maintain a valid state driver’s license, have access to reliable transportation and carry the state minimum required auto insurance. Must be able to drive company vehicles and transport materials as required. Occasional Local travel required including working at various facilities.
- Strong computer skills to include proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software programs.
- Exceptional attention to detail, timeliness and accuracy of completed work.
- Able to safely operate a forklift, crane or other material handling equipment.
- Ability to use simple math.
- Must be able to read and understand blueprints.
