Day to Day Responsibilities

The Pile Driver Operator is responsible for the safe and reliable operation of driving piles.

• Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following guidelines, standards and procedures.
• Works closely with skilled craft persons to complete current projects in a safe and efficient manner.
• Adheres to all Company Safety and Health Policies
• Clearly communicate with spotters at all times
• Review project plans and drawings and ensure throughout the project(s) that the project is built according to code, design and specification.
• Works with and assists crew in excavation activities which may include: hoisting material, tools, equipment, cleaning and preparing work site, digging trenches, setting braces and/or forms, shoveling concrete and/or dirt into construction areas, clean up of rubble and debris, and removal of waste materials.
• Lays out from blueprints and/or site plans the exact location where the pilings will be driven.
• Performs site preparation for installation of various concrete structures; prepares the piling to be driven and assists in positioning and driving the piling.
• Operates all equipment in a safe manner and efficient working practices.
• Maintain tools and equipment; perform safety checks.
• Assist in the installation of various pile types, fueling, maintenance, and greasing of pile equipment.
• Clean equipment as required.
• Prepare and clean up job site.
• Strong teamwork orientation and collaborative work style and commitment to get the job done.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Nogales, AZ: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Construction: 5 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Preferred)
