Core Community- YCM is a non-profit organization in Ulysses, KS. We are professional, agile and our goal is to stop poverty in Ulysses by providing a safe non-judgmental space where we share tools and resources for individuals to thrive.

Duties:
- Serve as a liaison between the community and our organization
- Educate community members about poverty and the struggles local families face because of poverty.
- Raise the funds needed for the annual budget by meeting with organizations, businesses and individuals in the community to secure funding.
- Work closely with the local Advisory Board making sure they have all financial reports in a timely manner
- Conduct public speaking engagements to raise awareness about poverty and the issues it causes.
- Assist with administrative tasks related to the program
- Recruit and onboard new volunteers

Requirements:
- Experience in fundraising or budgets preferred but no required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively educate and engage with diverse populations
- Knowledge of community resources and services
- Public speaking skills and ability to present information clearly and confidently

- Must be available Monday evenings
