Hybrid Infrastructure Services Manager

Job Summary
As the Manager of Hybrid Infrastructure Services at Core BTS, you will work with our largest and most strategic clients to position, scope and oversee the delivery of solutions and services. Starting with understanding a client's business goals, you will work with the Solutions Architects to review and approve client specific project plans, contracts, Statement of Work (SOW) and/or Bill of Materials (BOM) designed to align with the client's goals. The approval process should mitigate risk by having a commanding role in pre-determining estimated timeline, resources, deliverables and cost.From kick-off to project close-down, the Manager of Hybrid Infrastructure Services owns and drives the Project Manager(s) project plans establishing a suitable governance structure, managing and scheduling delivery resources together with stakeholder and issue management and escalation.As a self-starter passionate about making an immediate contribution, you will have demonstrated the ability to work with senior and executive level management in large accounts while simultaneously being capable of adapting the conversation to mid-size business. Must have the ability to map clients' business need to technology solutions. The successful candidate must be able to articulate the business value of Core BTS solutions offerings and position them in competitive scenarios.Essential Duties

  • Have a thorough understanding of the complete Core BTS Portfolio of Solutions offerings
  • Maintain healthy working relationships with external contracting resources and key delivery partners by performing periodic business reviews and check-ins.
  • Pursues and attracts other talented contributors/leaders in related areas to join Core's team
  • Maintain all appropriate legal subcontracting and partner agreements to allow proper use of direct, whitelabel and referral based services
  • Understand Client detailed requirements as a function of ensuring completeness of contracts, Statements of Work (SOW), and/or Bill of Materials (BOM) as a function of providing a comprehensive solution
  • Review, Approve and clearly understand Project plan and Statement of Work and contracts as designed by Solutions Architects mitigating risk and ensuring success from Core BTS Delivery Teams
  • Proactively grow Core's market presence by playing a key role in successful account expansion/development by identifying perspective client work, architecting sales and assisting in closing business.
  • Lead project and delivery efforts with multiple clients, partners, and stakeholders
  • Establish and manage relationship with the client at the manager/director level. Collaborate with technology and stakeholders to remove project roadblocks, manage cross-client dependencies and scheduling, and ensure high-quality implementation
  • Work with Project Manager(s) to ensure proper Management of project delivery resources according to plan keeping close visibility of potential project challenges measuring plan, schedule, budget, time and cost.
  • Resolve project delivery issues in a timely fashion, escalating when required.
  • Work hand in hand with Project Manager(s) to manage scope change requests appropriately. Own stakeholder management and engagement communications ensuring timely and consistent communication of launch status, risks and mitigation strategies
  • Perform Project Closeout activities with Project Manager(s) to ensure deliverables are completed on schedule and milestones are met according to contract or scope ensuring the services delivery adds value to the client.
  • Liaise with Service Operations and Finance personnel to ensure services are billed, expenses and vendor invoices are paid on time and collections issues are resolved.
  • Develop and maintain world-class delivery processes, metrics and performance targets
  • Report internally within on projects performance (services delivery, progress, economics, etc.)
  • Develop advisory relationships with executive teams, partners and partner management above and beyond engagement/project issues

  • Broad technical knowledge
  • Ability to think strategically, then organize people and ideas to execute with excellence
  • Passion for understanding the clients' key business drivers, technology infrastructure and technical strategy
  • Continually positions Core BTS as a strategic partner with the client and identifies avenues to solve problems with Core BTS offerings and capabilities
  • Self-starter that transitions easily from working at home to leading large meetings or presentations
  • Endless optimism, enthusiasm and passion for overcoming seemingly insurmountable obstacles

Required Skills

  • 10 years engagement/consulting/delivery or technical project management experience
  • Excellent consultative and communication skills
  • A track record of high client satisfaction through successful delivery of defined projects, tasks, and outcomes
  • Project Management Certification preferred
  • Prove experience building strong internal and external relationships
  • Diplomacy, tact, and poise under pressure when working through client issues
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Ability to function effectively under pressure in environments of rapid change and conflicting demands and client management
  • Strong leadership skills and demonstrated creative problem-solving skills
  • Ability to depict the technical information conceptually, logically and physically
  • Strong client and negotiation skills and the ability to mediate opposing viewpoints
  • Excellent client relationship and project management skills
  • Excellent presentation, meeting management and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and consult (providing options with pros, cons and risks) while providing thought leadership to sponsors/stakeholders in solving governance, program/project management, overall IT business objectives
  • Ability to bring structure to large, complex questions with limited guidance
