2024 Summer Intern – Transportation

We are looking for summer interns to support Cordoba Corporation's Transportation sector. The successful student intern will provide engineering support, coordinate the planning, and assist the civil engineers in executing project tasks.

Responsibilities

• Accepts designated, business-focus projects to research, propose ideas and solutions, and present the final project during the internship
• • Perform conceptual and detailed design calculations and analyses
• • Working with project engineers, coordinators, and project manager
• • Assist in the preparation of construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications
• • Ensure standard engineering practices and inclusion of appropriate documentation on various reports and design projects
• • Be responsible for the preparation of project-related reports and fact sheets
• • Represent respective projects at meetings with clients, stakeholders, and contractors
• • Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Familiarity with construction and civil engineering industry standards
• • Excellent verbal communication/presentation and English writing skills
• • Current standing as a junior or senior-level student enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, or construction management
• • Ability to work on team projects and handle several assignments simultaneously
• Salary Range: $17.00 to $20.00 per hour.
