The Clubs of Cordillera Ranch has 4 pools for the exclusive use of members and their guests. Each summer we start the summer season on Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day. Here at The Clubs, we love our seasonal help. Work over the summer and long holidays to make some money while you are going to school. With a seasonal job at Cordillera, you don’t have to worry about finding a job each season and quitting a job at the end of each season. At Cordillera, once you are employed you create a relationship with Management that you can carry through High School, and even College. 

Job Duties:

•  Empties automatic skimmer baskets, skims bugs and other debris from surface to prepare pool for daily use.
•  Supervises and observes swimmers to ensure their safety.
•  Administers first aid to minor injuries such as small cuts and bruises of swimmers.
•  Maintains amenities in and cleanliness of changing rooms, bathrooms, and showers.
•  Assists in organizing and delivering swimming lessons for members as directed by the Cabana & Aquatics Coordinator or Head Lifeguard.
•  Enforces pool rules of conduct.
•  Checks first aid supplies and reports needed items to Cabana & Aquatics Coordinator or Head Lifeguard.
•  Suggests, organizes, and monitors pool games.
•  Places rescue tube and ring buoy on the lifeguard chair in the morning and at the end of the day; returns these and all swimming aids and pool toys to Pump Room.
•  Straightens the pool and cabana areas at the beginning and end of the day.
•  Maintains all necessary records determined by the Cabana & Aquatics Coordinator.
•  Attends all meetings as directed by the Head Lifeguard or Cabana & Aquatics Coordinator.
•  Assist pool side food & beverage staff with providing outstanding customer service to all guest and members.
•  Recognize and respond quickly and effectively in emergencies.
•  Enforce all aquatic facility policies, rules, and regulations.
•  Inspect the facility on a daily schedule and report any unsafe conditions or equipment to the supervisor.
•  Complete records and reports as requested by supervisor.
•  Participate in regular in-service training.
•  Maintain fitness level (swimming skills, strength, and endurance).
•  Complete additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

Job Qualifications:

•  Lifeguard Certification required.
•  Must be 16 or over to apply
