Cordia Resources by Cherry Bekaert is searching for a Tax Project Manager on a part-time basis. Candidate would be able to work for approximately 4-5 weeks on a contract basis, and could work around current job on weekends and evenings. Candidate will be responsible for:
- Managing 1099 process at beginning of year
- Working with Taxport/Sovos tax software system
- Coordinating between company and 3rd party processing firm
- Ensuring 1099 forms are filled out completely and properly, and communicating if they are not
- Resolving issues between clients, company, and 3rd party firm
- Other duties as assigned
Candidate should have 5 years of tax experience, and 2 years of Taxport/Sovos experience.
