Cordia Resources is currently seeking a Junior Accountant specializing in Accounts Payable. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or entry-level professional with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic corporate environment.
Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable transactions accurately and timely, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and employee reimbursements.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies as needed.
• Prepare and submit expense reports for reimbursement, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Assist in the preparation and distribution of 1099 forms for vendors as required by tax regulations.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address inquiries and resolve issues related to accounts payable.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes, including accruals and reporting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required.
• Previous internship or work experience in handling accounts payable is a plus.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
