Job Title: Interim Fractional CFO/Controller
Location: On-Site - Jacksonville, FL 
Job Type: Contract Part-time (2-3 months)
Responsibilities:
• Oversee day-to-day financial operations and ensure compliance with accounting standards
• Supervise a team of two professionals
• Close the books using QuickBooks desktop software
• Generate and present management and board reports
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Prepare financial reports, statements, and analysis for senior management and stakeholders
• Provide strategic financial guidance and recommendations to support business decisions
• Manage cash flow, investments, and financial risks
• Lead the finance team, providing mentorship, guidance, and support
• Collaborate with external auditors, tax advisors, and other stakeholders as needed
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency within the finance department
Requirements:
• Hands-on work experience in finance/accounting roles
• Proficiency in QuickBooks desktop
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred
• Proven experience as a CFO, Controller, or similar leadership role
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Experience with financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong leadership and communication abilities
