SUMMARYResponsible for the Operator Training Program for the Manufacturing Department. The primary focus is to create and deliver training to employees within the Manufacturing Department. Will also evaluate the current situation to continually improve the Training Program. This applies to those directly involved in the manufacturing process. For example, New Operator Training, skill enhancement of current operators and supervisors, and project and process specific training. This position reports to the Manger, Training.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESInclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.
This job has no direct supervisory or budget responsibilities; however, there is critical responsibility for training operators in proper operating techniques. The Trainer will, as needed, assist the Plant Supervisors in the administration and application of crew training and tracking of training status.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEBachelor’s Degree (BS) from a four 4-year college; or 10 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLSAbility to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLSAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITYAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
