SUMMARY

Is responsible for maintaining plant cleanliness. This position is responsible for keeping the manufacturing areas clean, organized, and with a professional appearance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Complete daily inspection checklists and any additional tasks as assigned by Facilities Lead
  • Complete weekly plant cleaning sheets, ensure any out of tolerance items are communicated to Supervisors; and all paperwork is completed and stored in designated storage locations
  • Complete scheduled work orders on time.
  • Keep plants and surrounding areas free of debris, pallets, and empty drums
  • Painting of industrial equipment and buildings.
  • Routinely inspect and repair or replace any signage for safety, organization, and hazards in the work area.
  • Perform cleaning duties such as: Sweeping, mopping, buffing/polishing floors, and pressure washing.
  • Clean packaging areas as defined in area SOPs
  • Notify Facilities Lead of any deficiencies found within the work area

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); and 1 month of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Actual pay will be based on your skills and experience.
