Job Title: Direct Support Professional

Duties:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or senior care needs.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Administer medications according to prescribed instructions.
- Monitor and record vital signs as necessary.
- Assist with meal preparation and ensure dietary restrictions are followed.
- Provide transportation and accompany individuals to appointments, outings, and community activities.
- Foster a safe and supportive environment for individuals under your care.
- Document individual progress, behaviors, and any incidents that occur during shifts.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or in senior care is preferred.
- Knowledge of proper patient care techniques and procedures.
- Ability to administer medications accurately and safely.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with individuals who may have challenging behaviors or communication difficulties.

Additional Skills:
- Experience in working with people with developmental disabilities or autism is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with senior care practices is a plus.
- Ability to perform basic medical tasks such as taking vital signs is preferred.
