Corcept Therapeutics is Hiring a Remote Senior Director, Oncology Access Marketing and Patient Support

The Sr. Director of Oncology Access Marketing and Patient Support plays a pivotal role in ensuring patient access to Corcept’s oncology therapies, leading strategic initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving patient-centric programs, directly impacting patient outcomes and contributing to the success of our organization. The Access Marketing team is responsible for collaborating with the brand team and key account teams in developing and executing the payer strategy, oncology key account strategy, and Academic/IDN segment strategy and associated resources. Access Marketing is also responsible for collaborating with the brand to market the patient support program to HCPs and patients and for creating “pull-through” resources to communicate payer coverage information to HCPs and patients. The Patient Support team is responsible for developing and executing the patient support program and ensuring a positive provider and patient experience when prescribing relacorilant.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic oversight of Access Marketing and Patient Support - Develop and execute the overall access marketing and patient support strategy for Corcept’s oncology portfolio. Collaborate with senior leadership to align access initiatives with corporate goals. Drive innovative approaches to enhance patient access, affordability, and adherence
  • Payer Coverage Strategy and Resources - Partner with the market access leadership, the HEOR/RWE team and the oncology brand team to develop and execute the payer coverage strategy for Part D and commercial payers. Responsible for, in collaboration with the HEOR/RWE team, payer value resources to support payer coverage
  • Distribution and Key Account Strategy and Resources – Partner with community oncology key account team and Academic and IDN team to develop strategy and to create resource to support adoption and patient access. For distribution, develop product fact sheets and related resources to support distribution
  • Pull Through Resources – Develop resources to communicate payer coverage to HCPs and patients
  • Patient Support Marketing – Develop marketing materials to promote the program to HCPs and patients to support a positive patient and provider experience with relacorilant therapy
  • Trade Organizations - Support account team partnerships with oncology trade organizations such as COA and NCODA
  • Collaborate with Account Teams on Account Strategy and Planning - Analyze product volume, trends, and growth, for assigned accounts. Develop and implement account level business plans and work with market access marketing to develop segment strategies and resources to support adoption
  • Patient Support Program Strategy – Collaborate with the brand team and key stakeholders to develop, execute and oversee the oncology patient support program, including reimbursement support, copay support, nurse educator, and reimbursement managers
  • Patient Support Program Operations – Lead patient support operations including vendor management and on-going program management. Measure program effectiveness and key performance indicators and continuously improve the patient experience

Preferred Skills, Qualifications and Technical Proficiencies:

  • Experience leading access marketing and patient teams in oncology
  • Strategic mindset and patient centric approach to the business
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Experience launching oral oncology therapies in the community oncology setting with focus on driving results and meeting or exceeding objectives
  • Demonstrated ability to manage, coach and lead teams to meeting objectives and drive results within agreed upon timelines
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to engage all levels of the organization including C-Suite level relationships
  • Working knowledge of US health care policies and relevant legal, compliance, regulatory and reporting requirements
  • Some travel required, including trips to Corcept headquarters (25%)

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree; Master’s degree preferred
  • 10-15 years of pharmaceutical experience, oncology experience preferred
  • 5 years of access marketing and patient support leadership experience
  • Pharmaceutical field sales experience preferred
  • Brand marketing experience preferred

The pay range that the Company reasonably expects to pay for this position is $252,000 - $300,000; the pay ultimately offered may vary based on legitimate considerations, including geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and education.
