Corbion is seeking a Finance Manager to provide strong financial support and serve as a key business partner to the sales, industry, product management and operational teams globally. The ideal candidate will be responsible for using business intelligence tools (Analysis Services Cube(s) / CRM / LX, SAP) and assisting in the transformation of data into usable management information. Candidate will be able to help design and implement analysis tools to create insight into actual results, sales budget, latest estimate (forecast) and pipeline. Individual should possess a desire to learn the details of systems/programs and feel comfortable sharing and making recommendations on how that information can be used to make informed decisions. Must have the ability to work with other departments, communicate clearly and ability to work in a fast moving / team environment. This position will report to the Sr. Director Sustainable Food Solutions (SFS).

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Serve as the primary finance support for key business segment leads as well as financial support for North America based leadership teams.
• Challenge business partners from a financial perspective based on clear analysis of (potential) business issues (review, monitoring and early warning).
• Establish structures to provide timely and relevant management information to sales/operations/business leads.
• Design and implement clear, effective and efficient Planning & Control cycle for assigned business partners and/or focus areas including design & implementation of framework. This includes monthly reporting & analysis of sales performance; ensuring that these analyses are performed correctly and on time; transferring analysis skills to assigned focus area, designing, implementing and optimizing efficient and effective supporting tools; budgeting and forecasting, including identification of risks and opportunities.
• Perform ad-hoc analysis and special projects for the Sustainable Food Solutions team and financial management as needed.
• Support Corbion data transformation efforts; serve as liaison between finance and master data teams on relevant data topics / SAP implementation steps.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related business degree (Economics, MIS).
• 5 years of working experience (preferably in international and/or manufacturing environments).
• Proficiency with Microsoft software (Excel, Access, Analysis Services (Cubes)) and various accounting systems / databases.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, teamwork and business partnering skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, detail-oriented.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines; entrepreneurial initiative and self-management.
• Adaptability; flexible in fast-paced, changing environment.
