The Plant Controller position will be located in Blair, Nebraska OR Lenexa, Kansas with regular travel to Blair. Some travel is expected to Tucker, Georgia, as well.

This positions primary responsibilities include, providing insightful finance analysis and collaborating with management to steer the production facilities in Blair, Nebraska and Tucker, Georgia in reaching their financial objectives. The ideal candidate is a hands-on “go-getter” and a business partner who is highly proactive and accustomed to successfully partnering with leadership.

As the Plant Controller, you will be the finance business partner of the Site Director in Blair and Tucker. In this role you will be responsible to:

• Finance Partner for site leadership, pro-actively taking responsibility for strategy, budgeting, forecasting processes and business decisions
• Support plant operations with timely and accurate financial reporting and analysis of results (a.o. cost control versus budget, efficiencies & variance reporting, and providing cost forecasts)

• Maintain strong control and reporting of Capital Expenditures, in particular a large on-going expansion
• Analyze site financials with strong business acumen and guide leadership to make informed, financially sound decisions
• Oversee financial internal and external controls regarding assets (including inventory) and spend
• Collaborate with site Operations Analyst on cost price calculations, evaluating inventory and challenging supply chain to maintain proper stock levels, complying with internal control guidelines
• Collaborate with Lenexa based Finance Control Team
• Member of management team at manufacturing facility in Blair, Nebraska
• Support in a successful SAP Go-Live

Department: The Plant Controller is part of the Global Operations Finance Team and reports to the Senior Director Finance Global Operations who is based in The Netherlands. The Global Operations Finance Team is part of the Business Control Team within Corbion. Business controllers in Corbion act as finance business partners for the Commercial, Operations and RD&A teams within the organization and are focused on value creation.

Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required. Master's degree in Accounting, MBA or CPA preferred.
• Eight plus years of progressive experience in Accounting/Finance environment required; international manufacturing or food production a plus
• Strong business, financial acumen with demonstrated ability to provide in-depth analysis
• Working knowledge of controlling large CAPEX projects is a plus
• Team player who is adaptable, flexible and comfortable presenting/communicating to various levels of the organization with a variety of goals and purposes
• Experience with ERP, SAP preferred, and Microsoft tools
• Willingness to travel as needed to manufacturing facility in Tucker, Georgia and to our North American Corporate office in Lenexa, KS
