The live-in University Area Coordinator (AC) provides leadership and vision over a specific University residential area consisting of one or more buildings. This is a full-time, benefited position with meal plan, apartment, and utilities included. The AC is charged to facilitate a residential learning environment that is conducive to a students’ academic success, social integration, and spiritual development. The position is charged with the supervision and development of a residential life staff that consists of Resident Assistants and a Multicultural Assistant. The AC addresses a student’s developmental need through residential programming offerings that contribute to the overall well-being of a student. With assistance from other staff members and departments, the AC assists in student care and conduct, crises response, occupancy management, and retention initiatives. The AC supports the University mission to educate Christians who will make a difference in the world for Jesus Christ.
