Coral Desert Rehab is a 5-star subacute short-term rehab facility in St. George, Utah. We have a fast-paced and fun environment with one of the lowest length of stay averages for patients in the state while being top-of-class in functional outcome measures.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Organize and maintain facility medical records system in compliance with company, state, and federal regulations.
Follow procedures in the collection, coding and indexing, and the filing/retrieving (scanning and uploading) of medical records.
Review admission, discharge and death records, as well as records on the nursing units.
Collect, assemble, check, and file resident charts and personnel records as may be necessary.
Ensure that incomplete records/charts are returned to nursing service for correction.
Qualifications:
Medical Records experience is preferred
Good communication skills.
Knowledge of medical terminology.
Knowledge of ICD 10 Diagnosis Coding.
Excellent organization and attention to detail.
Passion for helping people

Prior experience in skilled nursing or long term care environment in the food service/dietary preferred
