CORA Services is Hiring a Special Instructors for Early Intervention Near Philadelphia, PA

CORA Services is a non-profit agency whose mission is to assist youth, children, and families experiencing emotional, academic, and social challenges which impede their development and productivity. CORA provides this assistance throughout the greater Philadelphia area.

CORA is currently seeking 1099 Contractor Special Instructors for its Early Intervention program.

Working as a 1099 Special Instructor you will:

  • Provide remedial and consultative services to children within their daytime pre-school setting consistent with professional standards.
  • Encourage the child to acquire developmental skills, cognitive and/or social skills based upon pre-set goals listed in the child's Individualized Education Plan.
  • Provide corrective action suggestions and support to child's family and preschool setting in regards to Special Instruction goals and routines.
  • Attend and participate in multi-disciplinary meetings, including but not limited to Individualized Education Plan Review meetings, consultative meetings, parent meetings etc.
  • Establish and maintain an appropriate schedule that accommodates service frequencies for all assigned students.
  • Make appropriate referrals for service changes as needed.
  • Maintain documentation and complete all necessary paperwork accurately and on time including, electronic and hard copy billing, progress monitoring, team/parent correspondence, agency mandated paperwork etc.

Qualified Candidates Should Possess:

  • Minimum: Bachelor's Degree in Education and Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate in Early Childhood.
  • Preferred: Master's Degree in Education with Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate or appropriate licensure.
  • Solid working knowledge of the field.

Contractors earn a competitive rate for each unit of direct service (15 minutes) for each child serviced, providing a transparent, predictable and straightforward compensation structure.

As a long-standing provider in Early Intervention services, CORA contractors can enjoy flexibility and autonomy in well-established sites throughout Philadelphia.

Rate:

$16 per 15 minute unit of direct service ($64/ hour and up)
