Cora Health is Hiring a Community Health Promoter (Field Sales) Near Los Angeles, CA

Cora Health is a new telehealth platform for US-based Latinos. Our goal is to provide affordable and culturally competent care with a personalized approach and interdisciplinary support. We will offer virtual weight loss consultations and prescriptions, as well as other virtual primary care services to underserved Latinos/Hispanics in the US. Our core values are empathy, commitment, and community. We are customer-centric, inclusive and collaborative

Cora Health seeks a proactive, Spanish-speaking Community Health Promoter for a Field Sales position, to build awareness and trust with local communities and promote Cora’s health plans. The right candidate is someone eager to collaborate closely with local leaders and organizations, driving awareness of Cora Health’s offering via flyers and talks, enrolling interested parties and supporting them to get started. The ideal candidate is one who actively engages with local organizations to design and execute promotional and educational opportunities that can lead to higher patient enrollment.

You will play a key role in an innovative platform that delivers affordable quality care in a culturally sensitive virtual primary care environment. Your role will have a positive impact as we transform access to health care, focused on addressing health issues that disproportionately impact the Latino community.

Your compensation will have a fixed component and a substantial variable incentive based on the results you deliver.

  • Participate actively in local community functions and initiatives.
  • Proactively engage in community outreach, leading efforts in member recruitment, and assisting prospective members with the enrollment process.
  • Communicate with patients using phone, video, and text messaging, collaborating with the multidisciplinary care team when necessary.
  • Assist potential members with questions and support related to scheduling appointments, medication assistance, laboratory services, coordinating referrals, adherence to care plans, and accessing relevant resources.
  • Develop strong public speaking and presentation skills to effectively communicate the benefits of our healthcare services during community events and engagements.
  • Personalize sales and outreach efforts based on individual community members' needs and preferences.
  • Demonstrate accountability to execute independently in a remote environment.
