W3Global Inc is Hiring a Fire Alarm Technician Near Tolleson, AZ

Full Job DescriptionOur client is currently hiring for a Fire Alarm Test & Inspect Technician in our Phoenix, Arizona branch.Position Summary: Test and Inspect Technicians provide system testing and inspecting to the prescribed NFPA 72 standards. Technicians will be working with low voltage wiring and associated devices for the operation of low voltage equipment.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Complete fire alarm system inspections, maintenance, and service
  • Comprehensive working knowledge of NFPA standards
  • Test and inspect all aspects of related systems
  • Demonstrate the proper use of a Sound Pressure Level meter, smoke detector and/or heat detector kit, battery load tester, manometer duct detector air flow tester, and multi-meter
  • Service support on existing installations ensuring systems continue to meet existing building occupancy codes
  • Preparing accurate and timely service tickets and reports
  • Ensure a high level of customer service, satisfaction, and communication
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment on and off site
  • Interface successfully with Administration, Sales, Customers, and Management
  • Has excellent attendance and punctuality
  • Other duties as assigned
Education & Required Skills
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 1-2 years prior experience in inspections, field service, and/or installation in fire industry required
  • NICET II or higher or CSA Certification is preferred
  • Exemplary customer service skills to deal with both internal and external customers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong Time Management Skills
  • Must be responsible, self-motivated, self-starter, personable and well organized
  • Must have clean driving record and a valid Driver's License
  • Must speak English
