Duties & Responsibilities
- Complete fire alarm system inspections, maintenance, and service
- Comprehensive working knowledge of NFPA standards
- Test and inspect all aspects of related systems
- Demonstrate the proper use of a Sound Pressure Level meter, smoke detector and/or heat detector kit, battery load tester, manometer duct detector air flow tester, and multi-meter
- Service support on existing installations ensuring systems continue to meet existing building occupancy codes
- Preparing accurate and timely service tickets and reports
- Ensure a high level of customer service, satisfaction, and communication
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment on and off site
- Interface successfully with Administration, Sales, Customers, and Management
- Has excellent attendance and punctuality
- Other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma/GED
- 1-2 years prior experience in inspections, field service, and/or installation in fire industry required
- NICET II or higher or CSA Certification is preferred
- Exemplary customer service skills to deal with both internal and external customers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong Time Management Skills
- Must be responsible, self-motivated, self-starter, personable and well organized
- Must have clean driving record and a valid Driver's License
- Must speak English
