    This position is funded through the 2025-2026 school year by the TEA LASO Blended Learning Grant. Continuation of the position beyond the 2025-2026 school year is contingent upon grant completion and available funding. The Blended Learning Coach must complete the scope of work for the position described in the approved Blended Learning Grant application proposal submitted to Texas Education Agency (see Primary Purpose and Roles below).
    PRIMARY PURPOSE: The Blended Learning Coach will coordinate and lead professional development regarding blended learning, oversee instructional materials for the blended learning program, observe classroom instruction and provide feedback to teachers, and maintain district data related to blended learning (student progress & application usage).
    QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum Education/Certification:
    Valid Texas Teaching Certificate
    2 years prior successful experience in implementing blended learning as a classroom teacher
    Preferred Experience:
    Successful experience leading professional development trainings either at the campus or district level
    Successful experience mentoring and/or coaching teachers
    Responsibilities:
    1. Strategic Planning: Collaborate with district leadership to develop and implement a comprehensive strategic plan for blended learning, aligning with CCISD's educational goals and vision.
    2. Professional Development: Design, coordinate, and deliver professional development opportunities for educators to enhance their understanding and utilization of blended learning strategies and digital tools.
    3. Curriculum Integration: Work closely with curriculum specialists to integrate digital resources and technology into the curriculum, ensuring alignment with state standards and promoting effective blended learning experiences.
    4. Technology Integration: Provide guidance and support for the effective integration of technology into classroom instruction, focusing on tools and platforms that enhance student engagement, collaboration, and critical thinking.
    5. Data Analysis: Utilize data analysis tools to assess the impact of blended learning initiatives on student outcomes and continuously refine strategies based on data-driven insights.
    6. Support for Educators: Offer ongoing support to teachers, administrators, and staff in the successful implementation of blended learning models, addressing challenges and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
    7. Community Engagement: Collaborate with parents, community members, and local businesses to build awareness and understanding of the district's digital learning initiatives and solicit feedback to inform program improvements.
    8. Stay Current with Educational Trends: Stay abreast of the latest developments in educational technology, blended learning methodologies, and innovation to ensure CCISD remains at the forefront of digital learning.

    Ability to multi-task in a busy environment
    Maintain emotional control under stress
