Copper Tip Energy Services is seeking a skilled Electronics Technician to join our team. As an Electronics Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electronic equipment. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills and attention to detail.
Duties:
- Install, calibrate, and maintain instruments and control systems in accordance with technical specifications
- Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning instruments and control systems
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on instruments and control systems
- Collaborate with operations and other technicians to develop solutions for complex instrument-related issues
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Fabricate or modify instrument components as needed
- Conduct tests to verify the accuracy and performance of instruments
- Document all maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and inspections
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of low voltage systems
- Proficient in using hand tools for equipment repair
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals
- Mechanical knowledge for disassembling and reassembling electronic components
- Experience as a service technician or in field service is a plus
- Knowledge of computer hardware and computer networking is beneficial
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as an Electronics Technician or similar role
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
