We are looking for an associate attorney to help with insurance related matters, including but not limited to denied claims, bad faith litigation, appraisals, liens, and Registrar of Contractor complaints. The ideal associate will have at least one (1) year of experience handling insurance related matters, whether on the defense or policyholder side. Must be a strong writer with capacity to handle a large volume of claims. We are willing to train the right associate, but we prefer someone with experience handling depositions, expert discovery, and arbitrations/trials. Remote/Hybrid work available for the right candidate. Arizona bar licensure in good standing required. Other state bar licensure (including Nevada or New Mexico) would be a bonus.

Job Title: Associate Attorney

Work Experience Required: At least 1 year of insurance defense or Plaintiff side litigation experience.

Pay:

• $80,000 to $100,000 with quarterly bonuses for collections and origination (DOE);

Job Requirements:

• Handle insurance claim denials;
• Process and negotiate insurance appraisals;
• Litigate breach of contract and bad faith matters, including all stages of litigation from intake to arbitration/trial;
• Process and manage contractor liens;
• Litigate matters for contractors involving the Arizona Registrar of Contractors and Arizona Attorney General’s Office.
