Print Division Technician

Copiers Plus is currently seeking a highly motivated individual for the position of Print Division Technician. The Print Division Technician will assist with the day-to-day operations of the Copy Center by helping walk in and call-in clients with their printing, copying or reprographic needs. Print Tech is responsible for establishing client relationships and developing designs and artwork to meet their needs and expectations. Qualified candidates will excel at customer service and have a general understanding of the print production process including design, layout, and the operation of print production devices.

Qualifications

• Capable of producing commercially acceptable graphic designs using Adobe Creative Suite.
• Has a clear understanding of fonts, collecting art files, Pantone colors, process and digital printing and vector/raster images.
• Working knowledge of digital print production equipment including high speed digital presses, large format production printers, plotters, laminators, and additional print shop equipment.
• Extensive knowledge of the operation of the various office equipment, computers, and software used in the Copy Center.
• Ability to collaborate and work closely with diverse groups of people, including company employees and customers.
• Ability and knowledge to operate multi-line telephone system, computer systems and line of business software applications.
• Excellent telephone manners, voice, and skills to answer customer questions.
• Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to recognize and follow priorities.
• Ability to work independently and with little direct supervision.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure that established and potential customers are contacted, and the company’s products, capabilities, and services are presented in a positive way.
• Complete design and print quotes for customers in a timely manner.
• Write up all orders no later than the close of business on the day they are received.
• Evaluated all special customer requirements to determine the feasibility and cost of the desired service.
• Submit documents and reports, as needed, for the Print Services Manager.
• Address all customer complaints and foster goodwill whenever possible.

Job Information

• Full time position.
• Hours Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm.
• Weekends and major holidays off.
