The Role:

Copia Resources, Inc is seeking a Porter / Trash & Recycling Sorter to work full time at one of our client's properties in San Jose CA. This person will perform janitorial and porter duties. The Porter / Trash & Recycling Sorter will walk the properties to ensure cleanliness throughout the property. The primary focus for this position will revolve around trash enclosures located throughout the properties.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid driver's license.
• Clean driving record of at least 3 yrs (1 point or less with approval from company's car insurance)
• Able to work the following shift: 8 am - 4:30 pm Monday - Friday
• Ability to repetitively lift 75 lbs (furniture, appliances, household items)
• Ability to push and pull a wheeled bin weighing 600 lbs.
• Follows instructions from Senior Drivers / Field Operations Admin / Route Supervisors while working quickly and efficiently
• Able to drive/maneuver a trailer
• Must work well with others and represent Copia Resources Inc professionally
• Ability to send emails, text messages and picture messages by cell phone
• Ability to make decisions and think outside of the box
• Experience with waste management is a plus (NOT required)
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus but NOT REQUIRED
