We are seeking a Quality Control Specialist to become a part of our team!

POSITION SUMMARY: Performs the duties required to ensure ISO compliance and to provide technical assistance and continuous process improvement to enhance customer satisfaction.

Essential Functions:

1. Collects, tracks, analyzes, reports and maintains quality data and quality system documentation

2. Schedules, coordinates and/or conducts internal audits and participates in external audits

3. Supports internal customers by providing quality specific education, answering inquiries and assisting with root cause analysis and problem solving

4. Participates in continuous improvement projects

5. Inspects outsourced labor and internally produced parts

6. Performs and documents calibrations on specific inspection equipment and maintains calibration logs

7. Conducts vendor approval activities

8. Completes external customer self-assessment audits and/or GAP Analyses

Qualifications

Education: Requires a HS diploma or GED two year technical or vocational degree or equivalent work experience.

Experience: Requires a minimum of 4 years of experience in continual process improvement and basic quality tools.
