Key Responsibilities:

As a Marketing Intern at Cope Plastics, you'll have the opportunity to:

• Assist in the creation and scheduling of social media content across various platforms, including but not limited to LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
• Engage with our online community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner.
• Research and stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging social media platforms.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute social media campaigns, contests, and promotions.
• Monitor and analyze social media metrics to assess the performance of our content and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate creative and engaging social media ideas.
• Assist in other digital marketing activities as needed, such as email marketing and website content management.
• Perform research and market analysis activities.
• Assist in developing and implementing marketing strategies.
• Conduct research and analysis of customer segments, pain points, new feature requirements, and potential enhancements to drive site experience and online conversion success metrics.
• Assist with sales support duties, such as shipping promo items, fulfilling business card requests, managing marketing closet inventory, creating ink card orders, and more.

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you should meet the following criteria:

• Currently enrolled in a related degree program (Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic knowledge of digital marketing best practices.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Well-versed with social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
• Great creative and writing skills for basic copywriting and brief-writing.
• Design/editing skills are a nice-to-have.
• Self-starter and entrepreneurial - can work with minimal supervision.
• Organized and a multitasker for a hybrid work environment.
