Description
Tiger Precision Products is seeking a talented and motivated individual for a role to lead costing and proposal efforts across our organization. The ideal candidate is energetic, organized, detail-oriented, holds high professional rigor, and has a thorough understanding of the industry including materials, and processes.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Ability to manage and lead costing efforts through proposal submital.
- Effectively communicate to senior leadership assumptions, risks, and opportunities.
- Understand industry best practices for pricing strategies.
- Be a strong point of contact for customer RFQs by being a knowledgeable and effective communicator
Requirements
- Minimum of five years of related work experience
- Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen
Preferred Qualifications
- A degree in engineering or related technical field
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics MRP/ERP system
- Ten years of related work experience
- Experience in engineering for DOD customers/services
- Experience in a machine shop
- Experience in aerospace and defense manufacturing
- Experience in composites, textiles, or plastics manufacturing
- Experience in AS9100 or NADCAP environment
This position works in a composite manufacturing and machine shop environment with moving mechanical equipment and machinery. Occasionally, with contact with potentially hazardous chemicals or materials. All employees are expected to follow the company’s rigorous safety and personal protective equipment procedures.
This position is for our Mooresville, NC location.
Compensation is based upon experience.
