ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Assist Property Managers with managing financials by constructing contracts, work orders, and change orders
- Perform preliminary site sketches and site development estimates for new properties in acquisition (research zoning information, setbacks, wetlands, floodplain)
- Manage and log all maintenance reports that come through (bi-annually)
- Assist legal and property team with all Valfair due diligence items (Facility Specifications, PM Site Visit Checklist, Development Matters, Engineer Site Concept plan)
- Use project management and scheduling software consistently and accurately.
- Manage project files and flow of information for assigned project.
- Participate in developing and maintaining project schedule.
- Work collaboratively with project team members to evaluate properties for zoning & use requirements, development cost, design and permitting.
- Prepare presentation materials and communications for meetings with Engineers, Planners or local government agencies to obtain approvals for zoning, use and permitting for an planned developments.
Degree in Construction Management, or related field, and minimum 2 years of experience as a Project Engineer, or equivalent role, in the construction industry. Candidates must have basic understanding and knowledge of the construction industry, job site safety requirements, contract management, planning and scheduling, budgets, building products, and relevant technology. Key competencies are initiative, communication, teamwork, and dependability.
Technical Skills: Google Earth, Bluebeam, MS Office Suite.
