Job Title Program Manager - Workforce Development As a vital member of the CoorsTek Academy Workforce Development team at CoorsTek, the Program Manager will play a pivotal role in spearheading initiatives aimed at enhancing workforce skill development and fostering career pathways. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate extensive experience managing high-dollar grants and contracts and managing/maintaining multiple funding sources in respect to those grants and contracts. This position will focus on developing and implementing programs tailored to the needs of adult learners, with the overarching goal of facilitating career growth. The Program Manager will work closely with the county, state and other stakeholders to develop workforce development curriculum. Key Responsibilities: Project Management: Work with and manage government agencies (Department of Labor), Education institutions (high school/college) and Industry on federal and/or state funded programs. Collaborate closely with government agencies and academic partners to identify strategic alliances aimed at creating programs that build learning and professional growth; particularly focusing on early career advancement, advanced manufacturing, and youth apprenticeship programs. Develop comprehensive project plans outlining goals, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements. Coordinate with internal stakeholders, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely and successful project completion. Resource Procurement: Conduct comprehensive research to identify relevant grant opportunities from various sources, including government agencies, foundations, and corporate sponsors. Proven track record of successful grant writing, including securing funding from diverse sources and effectively articulating program goals, objectives, and outcomes. Demonstrate ability to write compelling grant proposals that effectively communicate the organization's mission, programmatic activities, and impact to potential funders. Utilize strong research, writing, and editing skills to craft competitive grant applications that meet funder requirements and deadlines. Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, milestones, and risks. Facilitate communication between project team members, stakeholders, and management to ensure transparency and alignment. Cultivate and maintain relationships with learning and development leaders from various educational institutions and industries. Collaborate with them to identify partnership opportunities, including apprenticeship programs, and leverage these relationships to enhance the learning and development offerings for CoorsTek. Financial Management: Manage fiscal relationships related to grant funding for learning and development initiatives. Collaborate with internal cap-ex leadership to allocate resources effectively and ensure alignment with strategic objectives. Curriculum Development: Oversee the development of curriculum content tailored to the specific needs of the workforce for CoorsTek. Work closely with subject matter experts to design engaging and impactful learning experiences that promote continuous growth and development. Qualifications: Experience in workforce development, learning and development, or related fields. Proven project management skills with experience in Workforce Development. Strong stakeholder management abilities, with a demonstrated ability to cultivate and maintain relationships. Financial management experience, including grant funding and budgetary oversight. Curriculum development expertise with a focus on designing engaging and impactful learning experiences. Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. #LI-MR1 Target Hiring Range Annual Salary: USD 100,000.00 - USD 132,000.00 Actual compensation is commensurate with experience, skills and education.
