Coordinated Behavioral Care, Inc. is Hiring a Program Director -- Housing Services Near New York, NY

Are you ready to make a tangible difference in the lives of vulnerable individuals in New York City?

We are looking for a hands-on Program Director with strong understanding of NYC’s supportive housing, affordable housing and homelessness service landscape and subsidy programs as well as their eligibility requirements. Experience with public benefits is also a plus.

It is well known that housing is an essential part of health and well being. However, access into many NYC housing opportunities requires intensive navigation of complex systems accompanied by accurate and timely housing applications and supporting documentation.

This position will work both independently and as a collaborative partner within the CBO partners, hospital system, Housing for Health team, government agencies, supportive housing providers, landlords and other community-based organizations

Responsibilities Include:

  • Supporting the supportive housing partners to expedite permanent housing placements through project management of housing rent ups, troubleshooting patient barriers.
  • Oversee patient referrals and assignment to ensure that patients are referred to appropriate housing options and that their housing progression leads to permanent housing placement.
  • Leverage data to expedite the matching of patients to units and identify housing gaps in the program
  • Develop and maintain templates and tools to track project progress, drive decision making, and facilitate communication with partners
  • Lead special projects such as master leasing to expand housing options for patients

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in supportive and/or affordable housing program management.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team towards a common goal.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience in data management and reporting, with a focus on using data to drive deliverables.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
