CooperCompanies is Hiring a Talent sourcer Near Victor, NY

The Talent Acquisition Sourcer will be responsible for utilizing networking platforms (. LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, Professional Networks, Social Media, to source passive candidates for current and future opportunities within CooperVision.

This could include, but is not limited to : partnering with Recruiters and Hiring Managers to understand needs, developing sourcing strategies, conducting searches for potential talent in the market, evaluating profiles, and initiating contact with potential candidates for specific roles.

  • Partner with Recruiters and Senior Recruiters to understand the skills, experience, etc. required for identified roles, as well as the gaps / challenges in attracting talent.
  • Develop sourcing strategies to identify the best candidates for current and future hiring opportunities.
  • Contact and interact with passive talent to generate interest in CooperVision’s vacancies or future opportunities.
  • Utilize MyCooper Recruit ATS platform to enter and track active and pipeline candidates.
  • Track and manage sourcing data (. conversion rates passive candidates to applicants, interviews, offers, hires).
  • Participate in and support TA I&D initiatives.
  • Promote and support development of CooperVision Employer Brand.
  • Other Talent Acquisition activities as required.

Travel : Travel outside of regular work location : 5-10%; Regular local travel to CooperVision sites.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

  • Fluency in English (written and verbal) required. Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
  • Previous experience utilizing networking / sourcing platforms such as LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, and other professional resources or tools.
  • Previous experience conducting Boolean searches.
  • Previous experience utilizing an ATS platform.
  • Intermediate level in the use of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Knowledge and understanding of basic . employment law.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Effective time-management and prioritization skills.

Work Environment :

  • Normal office environment
  • Visits to local CooperVision sites might be required.

Experience :

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Sourcing / Talent Acquisition role preferred.
  • Experience in a medical device or other regulated industry preferred.
  • Experience in recruitment of Engineering, Sales, IT and / or other professional / technical fields preferred.

Education :

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business, or relevant field. Master’s Degree preferred. An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered.

For . locations that require disclosure of compensation, the starting base pay for this role is between $63,260 and $84,347 per year and may include cost of living adjustments.

The actual base pay includes many factors and is subject to change and modification in the future. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation and benefits.
