Supervises and supports operations of all patient access functions including but not limited to Emergency Department, Diagnostic Centers, Patient Access Service Center, all hospital based registration areas, Urgent Care Center support, financial counseling, copay/financial collection, insurance verification, patient information, verification of physician creditialing,pre-encounter registration, insurance eligibility, benefit verification, and insurance pre-certification/authorization for inpatient and outpatient surgeries, procedures, treatments and/or radiology studies when applicable.
Manages plans, and organizes/coordinates all daily activities Business functions including staffing, staff assignments, special projects, staff development/training, purchasing, and budgeting; ensuring accurate identification of managed care plans, network eligibility, and/or billing compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
