Short Description

The Nursing Education Associate Director is a master’s prepared nursing professional development specialist who serves as a leader and change agent to improve the professional practice of nurses and other healthcare personnel by facilitating ongoing learning, role competence, and growth. The Associate Director ensures alignment and coordination of professional development activities to drive quality outcomes across patient care services.

Experience Required

• A minimum of three (3) years of clinical nursing experience with at least one (1) year of clinical education experience.

Education Requirements

• Master’s degree in nursing, business administration, or education required. If master’s degree is not in nursing, a BSN is required. 

License/Certification Requirements

• AHA BLS required
• NJ RN License required
• Specialty Certification in nursing practice required
