Such supervision may be in the form of a preceptor relationship.Additional Responsibilities:* Follows established policies and procedures.* Communicates openly with internal customers and supervisors.* Provides excellent customer service interfacing well with all levels of staff, management, and physicians.* Applies Cooper core values.* Other duties as required.*The following tasks will not be performed by the GN:* Applies Cooper core values.* Procedures not signed off by the RN preceptor or Clinical Educator that requires competency.* Direct or supervise other healthcare staff.* Make assignments for other staff.Experience Required* The Graduate Nurse will have successfully completed his/her nursing school. Previous inpatient experience as a Nurse Associate/Patient Care Technician preferred.Education Requirements* Graduate of NLN accredited School of NursingLicense/Certification Requirements* Current American Heart Association BLS Certification (Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers).
