Housekeeping & Laundry Duties : Laundry attendant duties include : washing, drying & folding linens, inventory of linens & cleaning supplies, keeping laundry & storage area clean & orderly.

Housekeeper duties include : Cleaning guest rooms by changing linens & towels, cleaning main guest area, appliances, counters & dishes, bathroom to include shower, sink & toilet, restocking amenities, taking out trash, sweeping & mopping floors.

Any & all other duties as assigned

Job Requirements : Ability to communicate with staff & guests in a professional manner. Willing to work flexible schedule.

High school diploma / GED. Previous experience preferred. Able to lift, rotate, and place 50 lbs. Willingness to work in the outdoors in the Arctic climate is crucial while having the ability to negotiate uneven terrain in low light.

Ability to work on feet for up to 8 hours a day. For all positions at Borealis Basecamp, each and every team member must be willing to help team members out of their regular department.

Must be able to hold a conversation with a stranger for several minutes. Any & all duties as assigned.

Season Dates :

Start Date : August 15th

End Date : April 12th

End of Season Bonus : A $1.50 per hour bonus is paid for every hour worked through the season to staff that finish the season.

End of season bonus is NOT paid to staff that leave prior to the end of season date of April 12th.

Housing : Onsite staff housing is available at $400 per month. Each room is double or triple occupancy. Common areas with TV, Wifi, computers, dining area, and exercise space.

Private bathrooms & laundry facilities. We have a staff chef that prepares lunch & dinner, with breakfast being a self serve continental breakfast of oatmeal, cereal, fruits, etc.

Starting Pay : $17 / hr
