POSITION SUMMARY:

Operate machines, fix quality issues and material handling in and around the looms in order to maintain the efficient operation of the machines. Includes but is not limited to the tasks of loading and unloading the machine with yarn/beams, replenish the saturation felts and any required duties to ensure the equipment is running as efficiently as possible. Also grade rolls and record information as required. May require movement of goods with motorized equipment.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for operating weaving machines including:
• Drawing in broken threads
• Replacing filling
• Doff fabric from machines
• Responsible for fabric quality, housekeeping and assisting others as needed

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION:

• Must be able to read and understand English
• Must be computer literate
• Must be able to use standard ruler and metric system.
