Job Description - Cooke Summer Academy

Role: Classroom Paraprofessionals - Cooke Summer Academy

Paraprofessionals assist Lead Teachers and Program Heads in all daily lessons, activities, and trips. Paraprofessionals are responsible for monitoring assigned individuals or assigned groups of students and ensuring the health and safety of students enrolled in the program. Responsibilities:

• Ensure health and safety of assigned student(s)

• Assist Lead Teacher in organization of student work and communicate with Program Head regarding observed student behaviors and progress

• Participate and/or lead recreational activities, including swim time and off-site education experiences.

• Attend all staff meetings

• Other duties as assigned by supervisor
