** This role is a hybrid position. Candidate must reside within 2 hours via car of the Cook Medical location and is required to work onsite as needed per Manager expectations.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain Azure cloud and Fabric data platform to ensure availability, performance, scalability, and security of development, testing and production environments

• Communicate with other data team members, cross-IT teams, and key business stakeholders to identify required Azure resources and automate their provisioning

• Ensure integration with other systems and adherence to IT or business strategies.

• Serve as liaison with other teams, vendors, consultants, and customer groups to ensure cloud resources and DevOps pipelines are secure, scalable, resilient, monitored, and auditable

• Monitor overall performance to proactively identify potential issues and tune or improve environment appropriately

• Perform routine risk assessments for data platform systems and service levels

• Troubleshoot failed builds and deployments. Determine and fix environment and configuration issues. Analyze logs and communicate potential code issues to development teams

• Partner with development and cloud engineering teams to optimize the software delivery pipeline, ensuring smooth and efficient releases

• Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues related to Azure infrastructure, services and deployments to IT development teams

• Create and maintain technical documentation, guidelines, and DevOps knowledge base articles to facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration within the team

• Estimate and manage life-cycle costs and product level roadmaps

• Stay up to date on new and emerging technologies

• Evaluate and recommend product standards and new purchases or subscriptions

• Plan, design, build, test, and implement IT infrastructure systems and technology.• Deploy, install, integrate, maintain, and administer systems including hardware, software, and configurations. • Lead the planning, life-cycle management, and development for systems.• Regularly explore ways to scale, automate, and make service delivery more efficient.• Create and maintain technical documentation on designs, engineering procedures, and implementation or operational work products.• Work with others to establish and improve processes and procedures.

• Conduct technology or product exploration, prototypes, and pilots that deliver innovative IT solutions.• Evaluate and recommend product standards and new purchases.• Drive technical projects by determining scope, managing deliverables, and tracking progress for the creation or deployment of new solutions. • Provide decision making, leadership, and coaching or mentoring to others in a group. • Demonstrate strong communication skills and ability to thrive in a collaborative and independent environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum four-year technical university degree or equivalent experience; advanced degree preferred.• Minimum ten to twelve years of prior relevant work experience.• Expert level industry technical certifications.

• Possess an expert level knowledge of subject matter. • Performs work with a high degree of latitude. • Handles the most complex issues and escalations from other staff.

Physical Requirements:

• Works under general office environment conditions• Sitting for extended periods, utilizes close visual acuity for working with computers, equipment, etc. • Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job, subject to reasonable accommodation requirements under the ADA

• Requires occasional early morning or late evening teleconferences• International and domestic travel as required
