Cook Dental Care is Hiring a Dental Assistant Near Columbus, GA

We are now accepting applications for a Full Time Dental Assistant to join a Dream Team. Applicant must be self- motivated to work and provide quality care to patients. We are looking for strong applicants who meet the criteria below:

  • Sustain patient comfort and provide thorough explanation regarding treatment
  • Able to make temporaries, impressions, bleaching trays, and pour models
  • Take and process x-rays and other diagnostic assessments (digital photography, Cone Beam CT scans, panoramic images, etc.)
  • Communicate and fulfill chairside assistance for practicing dentist during a variety of procedures
  • Partner with dental providers and team to maximize efficient workflow
  • Instruct patient in proper dental techniques, care of appliances, and causes of dental decay.
  • Operate dental X-ray equipment to take intra and extra-oral radiographs.
  • Obtain and record related medical history of patient and route patient for medical tests and services.
  • Maintain dental equipment in a clean and operative condition as well as store and maintain adequate levels of supplies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
