Job Summary:
We are seeking experienced and dedicated Travel Nurses to join our team. As a Travel Nurse, you will have the opportunity to travel to different healthcare facilities and provide high-quality patient care. Duties:
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and document patient vital signs and response to treatment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure coordinated patient care
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment options, and preventive measures
- Assist with medical procedures such as cardiac catheterization, ophthalmology exams, gastric lavage, and IV infusions
- Provide behavioral health support and counseling to patients in need
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Adhere to all healthcare regulations and protocols
Requirements:
- Valid nursing license in the state of practice
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in various clinical settings
- Proficient in performing patient assessments and developing care plans
- Strong knowledge of physiology, pharmacology, and medical terminology
- Familiarity with workers compensation laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Flexibility to travel to different healthcare facilities as assigned
