- High school or general education diploma
- Master or Journeyman Electrician license
- Ability to lift fifty (50) pounds or more
- Ability to climb all ladder sizes
- Ability to do routine walking, standing, bending, and carrying heavy items

Terms Of EmploymentThe contract length will be 240 days. Salary schedule M.
EvaluationBased on local district policy and Arkansas Department of Education guidelines, and performed by the maintenance supervisor.
Job GoalResponsible for repairing and maintaining school facilities an grounds and establish a knowledge of maintaining electrical systems to provide a safe learning environment for the students and staff.
Performance Responsibilities
- Follow and maintain knowledge of all District policies and procedures.
- Maintain facilities’ electrical systems to include.
- Routinely inspecting electrical systems.
- Identifying faults and hazards.
- Troublshooting of electrical failures.
- Reviewing blueprints to understand device and appliance placements.
- Testing of electrical circuits and equipment with meters and other equipment.
- Promptly respond to work orders and requests.
- Replacement of devices and fixtures as needed.
- Installing new circuitry with raceway or other wiring means.
- Adhere to National and City electrical codes.
- Maintain a current license and continuing education requirements.
- Ability to use the District work order system and District forms.
- Follows all Safety Data Sheet directions on all chemical products used by the Conway Public School District; uses proper labeling and follows all safety procedures.
- Willing to assist with other assignments given by the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Ability to work and communicate with other Conway Public School District personnel and students.
- Other duties, as assigned.
