Convera: Smart Money Moves

Convera is on a journey to transform a profitable $400M FX business to a leader in money movement technology in the world of FinTech. To help succeed in this transformation, we're looking for an experienced Technical Program Manager to work with teams to deliver strategic initiatives, product enhancements, and infrastructure changes quickly and effectively. Our Technical Program Managers play a critical role in bringing Convera's strategy to life.

Responsibilities

• Work with key stakeholders in Product Management, Engineering, and across the business to help teams define strategy, requirements, solutions, and execution plans
• Understand the goals, customers, expected benefits, scope, and stakeholder needs for a given initiative.
• Work with business and technical subject matter experts to define milestones and key deliverables, understand the dependencies between these outputs/activities, and align on a sequence of work to deliver the output of the initiative on time and budget.
• During the delivery cycle, partner with product managers, engineering teams, scrum masters, and key stakeholders to identify and quickly resolve or mitigate risks that could affect delivery timelines, scope, or budgets.
• Facilitate Scrum of Scrums meetings to align delivery teams on complex strategic initiatives
• Create clarity on status, risks, and benefits realization status through clear and regular status reporting.
• Regularly interact with senior management and our executive team to provide transparency on scope, status, and risks.
• Lead continuous improvement ceremonies and provide coaching to team members to help create high achieving teams
• Coordinate other Technical Program Managers in driving delivery of a Large / Complex program
• Mentor and Coach Technical Program Managers to achieve their potential and drive business value delivery at Convera
• Contribute to defining / refining process in support of Program Management Operational excellence

Required Experience

• 15 years of experience as a Project Manager or Program Manager
• Demonstrated experience Leading delivering or Large / complex Programs in a fast-moving cross-functional environment 10
• Strong understanding of Software Development Methodologies and application of them
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Experience with Mentoring, Coaching, and Managing direct reports

Preferred Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Project Management, Technology, or related discipline.
• Payments, Banking, or FinTech experience
