Control Associates, Inc. has a Lead Control Systems Eng.-DeltaV/SIS Projects opening in Allendale, NJ (on-site).

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

• Develop, review and assist in the development of, General Design Specifications, Detailed Design Specifications and Functional Requirements Specifications and control strategies related to these.
• Maintain project design and test documentation as required by the customer specifications.
• Support Factory Acceptance Testing along with startup, commissioning, and troubleshooting of field devices (transmitters, switches, wireless devices, etc.) that connect and communicate to Delta V/Automation control panels (both office and field locations).
• Design, develop, and implement new or enhance existing Cloud Application Infrastructure strategic applications which leverage DeltaV platform.
• 10% domestic travel (occasional site visits to client sites).

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related field (foreign equivalent accepted) and 5 years of exp. as a Control Systems Engineer, Automation Engineer, or Technical Support Engineer.

Experience must include:

• 5 years of experience with industrial automation or industrial process environment.
• 5 years of experience with DeltaV or other industrial automation platform.
• 5 years of experience in design, configuration, commissioning, and troubleshooting (configuration experience includes graphics, batch configuration, and continuous control).
• 5 years of experience with DeltaV (or other industrial automation platform) programming, controller and hardware design and troubleshooting, and Safety Instrument Systems design and interfacing.
• 5 years of experience in implementation and upgrades of DeltaV Control Systems, Version 7 (or higher) or other industrial automation platform.
• 3 years of onsite automation experience at operating plants, including control panel Input/Output and control network troubleshooting in either the chemical and/or life sciences industry.
• Must possess Certificate of Completion of Factory Training on industry typical automation platforms in hardware, configuration, and graphics, such as Delta V or Rockwell.
