Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage construction projects from start to finish
- Coordinate and schedule subcontractors and suppliers
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to ensure project success
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary
- Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Manage and maintain project budgets and financial records
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates and addressing concerns
- Provide guidance and supervision to construction crews
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of construction practices, techniques, and materials
- Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting construction documents
- Experience with various construction trades such as welding, roofing, electrical work, remodeling, etc.
- Familiarity with construction management software and tools
- Ability to operate power tools and heavy equipment as needed
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities to address issues that may arise during construction projects
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members, clients, and other stakeholders
