Contours Landscape Solution is Hiring a LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE FOREMAN Near Howey in the Hills, FL
Duration:
- Position is hourly (Monday-Friday) and weekends if needed with compensation based upon experience
- Applicant MUST HAVE 3 Years Landscape Foreman Experience and be 28 years or older.
- Experience managing 3-5 crew members
- Ability to properly and safely operate Truck with Trailer.
- Ability to properly use grounds maintenance equipment such as, ZTR and walk behind mower, Stick edgers, String Trimmers, Back Pack Blowers, etc.
- Supervise and train crew members on all aspects of grounds maintenance services and equipment.
- Responsible and enforce proper equipment use and maintenance, as well as daily cleanliness.
- Ability to complete proper industry standards for general landscape maintenance practices such as Mowing, Pruning & Shearing Shrubs, Weed Control, Planting, etc.
- Ability to identify deficiencies on assigned job sites such as poor plant performance, Irrigation quality, Fertility and Disease identification or other poor quality job site appearances and report to immediate supervisor.
- Ability to lift 75lbs or more and walk, move, lift regularly throughout the day.
- Assist with schedule and daily workloads to meet service hours and manpower budgeted for each property assignment.
- Strong ability to communicate job site information to immediate supervisor.
- Plan, coordinate, and collect assigned crew equipment and materials daily.
- Ensure all company rules and safety procedures are followed.
- Ability to record and submit daily time sheets for crew, complete daily paperwork timely and accurately.
- Must posses-Great Attitude, Put In The Effort, Trust Worthy, Respectful and Be Accountable.
- Strong Work Ethic- Ability to Follow Directions
- Develop and maintain a positive work relationship with Area Manager, peers, and subordinates
- Strong ability to coach crew members effectively and efficiently throughout week.
- Ability to arrive on time daily and work at a Steady Pace
- Paid Time Off
- High school or equivalent (Required)
- Bi-lingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
- Valid Driver License
